One of the most important soccer skills that a player can develop is the ability to quickly change direction and get a shot on goal.

This soccer dribbling drill is designed to help players practice their wide, quick changes of direction, as well as their ability to transition into a quick shot on goal.

To do this drill, set up 4 cones in a zigzaging shape outside of the eighteen yard box. Sprint from the endline to the first cone, then cut the ball around the cone. Dribble around the rest of the cones, making short, quick cuts with the insides and outsides of your feet.

Once you get past the last cone, cut the ball towards the goal and have a shot.

This drill will help you develop your dribbling, ball control, and shooting skills.
