When learning soccer moves, a lot of people have the same question – “Who’s the best player in the world, and what’s his favorite move?” Well, there’s definitely some argument as to who’s the best player in the world, but most people agree that Lionel Messi of Barcelona is at least one of the top two players in the world. This move is probably his most recognizable soccer move to beat a defender.
This soccer move tutorial shows you how to do this move in three easy steps.
Step one – do a fake kick behind the ball.
Step two – Step past the ball to the right like you’re going to dribble the other way.
Step three – Touch the ball across your body with the foot you just stepped with, then forward with your other foot.
Practice this move by going around a cone, pretending it is a defender.
This soccer trick should be very effective at helping you beat defenders, because it’s actually several fakes in one, so practice it until you get it perfect, and you’ll be beating defenders like Lionel Messi does in no time!
